Automotive Relay with Fuse
The Automotive Relay is a type of electromechanical switch that employs a magnetic field to “pull” a group of contacts together, therefore completing or breaking a circuit. It is split into two halves: a “control” circuit with a magnetic coil and a “load” circuit with the contacts that comprise the switching mechanism. When current travels through the coil on the control side, a magnetic field is formed, drawing the armature away from one contact to the other, completing a circuit on the “load” side of the relay.
This Automotive Relay is an upgraded version; the built-in fuse socket includes a 30A blade fuse with 14AWG wire for the main contact. There is no need to separate the fuse holder, saving space and money. It is a Bosch-style 4-pin SPST (single pole single throw) relay.
Key Product Features:
- Mounting Design Features – Interlocking mounting design of unique male and female holes on each socket edge connects relays together, and manages cables with ease, offering a clean and neat installation.
- Easy Wiring – Relay sockets come with color-labeled wires for convenient wiring of loads/accessories. Black – Ground (85), Red – VDC (30), White – Trigger (86), Blue – Output N/O (87)
- Wide Application – Widely used in car key power control, overload protection, trunk release, polarity change, power lock/actuator control, change low current output to high current, lighting/accessory output, control motor, and other electronics.
